Engineer for the department Existing Bridges and Monitoring
We are busy with many challenging and different projects in the department “Existing Bridges and Monitoring” and we are looking for a civil or mechanical engineer with 0-3 years of experience.
Your responsibilities as an engineer
In your role as engineer, your focus will be to deliver the agreed task to our clients in different project teams. As such, it will be your responsibility to work on your own initiative and to deliver on time and within the agreed budget. In doing so, you collaborate closely with the Project Manager and the team within and outside the department.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Plan, undertake, coordinate, and manage work on projects and tasks
- Perform complex analysis using modelling; making, reading, and interpreting technical material
You and your competencies
You are a newly graduated civil or mechanical engineer from a technical university with a background in transport and infrastructure. You have the ambition to always do things better than last time you did a similar job. You want to develop your technical skills and expand your network within bridges and structures in general.
- Good competences in calculations of concrete and steel structures
- Knowledge of monitoring of structures is preferable but not a must
- Good level of written and spoken Danish

Existing Bridges and Monitoring is a department of approx. 25 employees who work extensively across the units in Ramboll. The department works with advanced load carrying capacity calculations, strengthening projects and monitoring of structures. This gives you a unique opportunity to work across Ramboll including cross-border.
The location of employment will be at our headquarter in Copenhagen.
