Lead Process/Facilities Engineer, North Sea Offshore Studies – with Study Manager potential

Work with studies and build the team
As a process/facilities engineer in Offshore Studies your most important role is to be process/facilities lead in multidisciplinary technical team conducting early phase facility studies of high quality and through this become a trusted advisor to our clients.
The facility studies will be both brownfield and greenfield including unmanned minimum wellhead platforms where Ramboll have more than two decades of experience through our Danish and Norwegian legacy. The study environment is supported by a very experienced in-house weight and cost estimating group.
Through the projects you will be part of best practices and methods for early phase studies.
You will support our business development function actively including activities such as client meetings and tender preparation.
Additional tasks will be:
- Be an active partner in shaping the future strategy of the department
- Use your knowledge and network to identify project opportunities
- Build good working relations to other parts of the Ramboll family and draw on full service offering of complete organisation
For the candidate with the right leadership skills there is a potential for further career advance. You would become study lead for offshore studies. Your responsibility would involve be a part of the team implementing the strategic tasks set out in the department’s strategy plan.
As a person, you have excellent communications skills as well as great interpersonal skills. You thrive in an environment where knowledge is shared and ideas are developed. Furthermore, you enjoy working independently as well as in teams. In your work, you like to influence and build processes. You already know the industry very well and find it easy to build a wide and effective business network and you have a sense for a sales opportunity.
To be a success in this position, you need the following competencies:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in process/facilities engineering
- Min. 10 years of experience within topsides facility projects including significant experience with early phase studies and with strong multidiscipline system knowledge
- Fluent in English and Norwegian – both verbal and written
- Project Manager skills is an advantage
